I have a confession to make. I’m a control freak mixed with a hefty dose of perfectionism – just to keep things interesting . All too often, I find myself saying, “I’ll do it myself.” Sometimes that decision helps me stretch and grow, but more often, it’s a habitual response that initially reassures my control-hungry ego, yet ultimately leads to overwhelm and frustration.
I’m all too familiar with self-imposed overload. And now that we’re entering fall, everyone’s plate is starting to fill up – if it wasn’t already. I’ve heard from several of our clients in education who are already overwhelmed as they begin another school year riddled with the uncertainties of COVID and the Delta variant. Many have been pulled away from their usual school-opening projects and responsibilities to serve as the school’s media/PR spokesperson. In addition, they are the main source of information about pandemic updates, new-case notifications and school COVID health policy changes for students and their parents. With the stakes so high, no wonder everyone is stressed out and worn out!
But hey, there’s another way… an antidote to your overwhelm, a salve for your overachieving nature. Give km design a call. Let us lighten your load. Still need convincing? Here’s why:
- Trade subjectivity for objectivity – Let’s face it. By nature, you and your team have a limited view of your brand and messaging. You’re just too close to it. As one of our clients once said, “I’m so far down the wine bottle I can’t read the label.” When you work with km design, you’ll not only gain a broader, clearer view of your “wine bottle” (AKA product or service), but also a bird’s-eye view of the full wine section at your local grocer including your competitors and prospective customers browsing the shelves.
- Receive the support to focus on what you do best. If you’re like me, you may be pretty good at a lot of things – a jack of all trades. But you know what they say… jack of all trades, master of none. Wouldn’t it be better to focus on what you do best and leave the rest to those more qualified? Now we’re talkin’!
- Think of us as your outsourced, in-house marketing team – We consider ourselves an extension of your creative team – complete with designers, copywriters, strategists, illustrators, web developers, photographers – tailored to your specific needs. You get all the creative benefits without the managerial headaches and overhead.
- Leverage the power of collaboration. Two heads are always better than one. When you hire the creative guns at km design, we recognize that you’re the expert. We value your experiences, expertise and creative input to direct us to the best, most effective creative solution. We take the time to ask questions, listen, learn – and only then create/design. Throughout the creative process, we check in regularly to receive feedback and ensure the final project satisfies your wants and needs.
- Enjoy peace of mind (Ahhh, priceless!) – At km design, every client is important, and we take it very seriously that you’ve entrusted us to contribute to your brand marketing success. In return, we’ll treat you with the utmost respect – checking in regularly with project updates and being available to answer questions or address concerns. We keep you “in the know” from start to finish ensuring your project is done on time and on budget. Cross our project off your to-do list and breathe a sigh of relief.
So, if you’re ready to turn off the fire hose and regain control of your workload and reclaim your sanity, let’s talk. Or if you really want to get my attention, schedule a call on my calendar.
